Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FinHQ (the “Service”), operated by FinHQ (“FinHQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
FinHQ provides financial-data tools, including historical three-statement financial models built from public SEC filings, live market watchlists and dashboards, aggregated news, AI-generated research (such as company primers, deep-dive briefs, and guidance summaries), and industry supply models. Data is sourced from public filings (SEC EDGAR), third-party market-data providers, and AI models, and may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate.
3. Not investment advice
All content and outputs are provided for general informational purposes only and do NOT constitute investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, nor a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to adopt any investment strategy. FinHQ is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should conduct your own research and consult a qualified professional.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code; resell or redistribute data or outputs except as permitted; circumvent usage limits or security; or infringe others' rights.
6. AI-generated content
Some outputs are generated by AI models and may contain errors or fabrications. Verify all AI-generated content against primary sources before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use any outputs.
7. Third-party data and services
The Service relies on third parties (including SEC EDGAR, market-data providers, AI providers, and infrastructure providers). We do not warrant third-party data and are not responsible for it. Your use may be subject to those third parties' terms.
8. Intellectual property
FinHQ and its underlying software, design, and content (excluding your inputs and third-party data) are owned by FinHQ. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and its outputs for your own internal or personal purposes.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinHQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold FinHQ harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13. Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date; your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
